Google+ Hangouts – Now we’re talking!

Hangin' OutI’ve had my eye on Google+ for a while now, which you can read about here and here. While I’m a believer in Google, I really didn’t “get” Google+ until recently. With more people using it and providing more depth, its getting a lot more interesting.

I logged in the other day to make sense of Google+ Hangouts. One of my cohorts turned me on to this very cool and currently underused technology. Basically, Google+ Hangouts are like integrating Skype and GoToMeeting.com into your social network. At anytime, feel free to create a Hangout, invite your friends, and have a video/audio/chatroom gathering. The beauty of Hangouts is how easy it is to set-up and how easy it is to have a private (or public) meeting with your friends, family, co-workers, etc.
