TV, Web, and Print Advertising Trends…

Back in February, there was a ton of buzz about the latest crop of TV ads that were going to be shown around some big football game being held in Texas. There were stories upon stories upon stories written about which ads were best and which ones didn’t quite hit their mark (cough, Groupon, cough) and the social media networks were fired up with all varieties of opinions about which ads were the best. (In my opinion, there was only one, but that is just me.)

Quick shout out to our fearless leader for being quoted in Inc. Magazine in “How to Manage a Sales Pipeline.” I’m sure this won’t be the last time Ross will be mentioned in Inc. Way to go Ross!

The Web is dead? Puhleeeze.

Every few years some journalist writes an article that proclaims the end of the world wide web as we know it. This time around things are different — we actually have TWO journalists trumpeting its demise. Exhibit A: “The Web is Dead. Long Live the Internet ” by Chris Anderson and Michael Wolff from Wired. Now, when I see an article like this from Wired I always raise an eyebrow. Remember the Push Media article from 13 years ago that had the audacity to suggest we would kiss our web browsers goodbye?
